Marra PL. Lanot is a trilingual poet, essayist, and freelance journalist. Among her books are Dream Sketches (profiles), Deju vu & Other Essays, and Witch’s Dance (poetry). She has been part of a group exhibit at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Main Gallery, where her photographs and poems were included. She also wrote teleplays, and formed several women’s groups such as WOMEN (Women Writers in Media Now), Concerned Artists of the Philippines-Women’s Desk, and GABRIELA, a nationwide alliance of more than 200 women’s organizations that cut across sectors and regions, plus chapters and support groups of Pinays and non-Pinays in various continents of the world. Established in 1984, it is atthe forefront of the Filipino Women’s struggle for freedom and democracy. <gabriela.phils@gmail.com>

lacabaJose F. Lacaba is a poet, journalist, and scriptwriter. Among his books are Disquiet, Nights of Rage (reportage), and Edad Medya (poetry). His screenplays include Sister Stella L., Orapronobis, and Jaguar. He was President of the Screenwriters Guild of the Philippines, and Vice-Chair of the Movie and Television Ratings and Classification Board (MTRCB). He used to teach journalism and scriptwriting. He currently edits Yes! magazine, which is show business in the Philippines.
